The new CHAMPION MODEL SW is a micro-processor controlled high-speed web machine designed to produce side-seam booklet (wallet) style envelopes and open-end (pocket) style envelopes at speeds up to 1500 envelopes per minute. The SW can produce envelopes with or without windows and can be equipped with up to four outside flexographic and two inside flexographic printers.

       The SW is a completely new machine designed for high productivity and efficiency, but it is flexible enough to meet the constantly changing demands of the envelope marketplace. The SW features easy-to-use operator controls designed to make change-overs faster and running adjustments quick and easy.

       A full 360' phasing of the rotary cutters, panel cutter, patcher, cutoff knife and top and bottom scoring is achieved with a simple pushbutton control. The patcher gummer automatically synchronizes to the patch cutoff knife and the aligner section and seal fold cylinder are also pushbutton controlled. Job programs can be saved on a floppy disc or the built-in hard drive and when recalled, the SW automatically phases all of the key processes circumferentially. These features and more make the SW the finest most flexible web machine available in the market today.
