Remember: Long hair, loose clothing, watches and rings must not be worn while adjusting, clearing or operating any envelope folding machine, die press, or affixing machine.
These are important safety rules that must be posted and enforced.
Not adhering to the above basic safety measures could result in a serious injury to your personnel. Under OSHA (29 CFTF 1910.132), the employer is obligated to supply protective head and eye protection, and this includes hair nets and safety glasses.
Please don't risk an OSHA citation and worker's compensation costs by not enforcing these plant safety rules.
