for Early DC Drive Machines
A kit which provides motor field loss protection should be installed on all early DC drive machines. This kit is RA SOF #196 and covers the following machine types and serial numbers: RA machines serial numbers 3265, 3336, 3338, and 3344 also RA 3438 through 3532 excluding RA 3522. MOH machine serial numbers 3559 through 3570.
